I didn’t play around with this much, but I was impressed with the options. The hospital is very customizable if you want to have a certain type of hospital (maternity, children’s, general, etc.).I missed him the first time because he leaves immediately after giving his reports. I wish he stuck around a bit longer, though. That was cool, especially with the health reports for my sickies. A doctor shows up twice a day to check up on the patients and diagnose them. But I liked having them there–a hospital needs nurses! And being able to control them was nice too. They did interact with the patients occasionally, but didn’t do much else. According to the manual they are supposed to check up on your patients every hour, though I didn’t notice them doing this so regularly. Two nurses are controllable while at the hospital lot (honestly 2 seems unnecessary and I wish the default was 1…especially as mine would not stop fighting, but it’s not a huge dealbreaker).Summons a Sim in law enforcement (or police) as nighttime security.Summons a Sim in the cuisine career (or NL chef, if none available) to work as a chef, providing meals at breakfast and dinner.Summons a Sim in the medical career (or maid, if none available) to work as an orderly, tidying up the hospital. However, I think the mod is a really cool addition to a neighbourhood. I don’t mind having extra NPCs in my ‘hoods, but the fact that mods that include them must be kept forever is a lot of commitment! It includes 3 or 4 NPCs (depending if you install both doctors–I picked only one), which is why I took so long to try it out. Kind of a cool feature in giving birth at the hospital is the choice to keep the baby, or give up for adoption. I only tested it with a sick Sim and a pregnant + sick Sim, but both worked fine. The mod allows pregnant (3rd trimester) and/or sick and/or sunburned Sims to visit the hospital to get better/give birth. ![]() I finally got around to testing out Chris Hatch’s hospital mod cleaned up by It’s really cool! I tested with my Pine Lake hospital in a CC-free ‘hood, so excuse the unusual curtain choice. Edit: You can find a link to the mod right over here.
